MHT CET CAP 2025: Maharashtra CET Cell has extended the last dates for CAP Round 1 counselling process for BE/BTech and MBA/MMS courses till August 4, 2025. Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round 1 can now accept the seat by 3 pm and report to the college by 5 pm.

Same procedure for both MBA and BE/BTech

MBA/MMS candidates have to accept the allotted seat in Round 1 and report to the college by 5 pm along with verification of certificates and fee payment. BE/BTech candidates also have to accept the seat through online login by 3 pm and report to the institute by 5 pm on the same day.

What to do post seat allotment?

Self verification has to be done - i.e., a declaration has to be made that the information given in the application (such as category, gender, marks, etc.) is correct.

If there is any kind of mistake, then a grievance has to be lodged online.

Candidates who have been selected for the first-choice seat will not be able to participate in the further rounds.

Other candidates can choose the Betterment option, so that they can get a better college in the next rounds. For this, they also have to accept the seat in Round 1.

Document Verification and Admission Confirmation

After accepting the seat, the candidate must report on time to their allotted college. On reaching the college, the documents will be checked accurately so that all the certificates and information are correct and valid. After this, the college will confirm the admission of the candidate and provide him a system-generated receipt which acts as an official proof of admission.

However, if any of the information given in the application form is found to be incorrect and on the same basis the candidate has been allotted a seat, then the college can cancel his admission. In such a situation, the candidate has to register his complaint online and contact the concerned authorities for necessary correction.
