Lokesh Kanagaraj recently revealed something surprisingDirector Lokesh Kanagaraj, who is currently busy with his upcoming film ‘Coolie’ starring Superstar Rajinikanth , recently revealed something surprising during a promotional interview. The news has quickly gone viral on social media.
Actor Sivakarthikeyan is working on a film called ‘ Parasakthi ’, which is being directed by Sudha Kongara, known for ‘Soorarai Pottru’. Interestingly, Lokesh was offered the villain’s role in ‘Parasakthi’. He loved the story and even met Sudha Kongara about it. Sivakarthikeyan also encouraged him to take up the role.
But Lokesh decided to say no to the offer. He explained that taking on the role could delay the shooting and release of ‘Coolie’, so he chose to focus completely on his own film. He said, “I was the one who was supposed to play the villain in ‘Parasakthi’. I met Sudha Kongara mam too. I loved the story immensely. Siva Karthikeyan also advised me to be a part of the film. However, I had to turn it down since it might affect the timeline and release schedule of Coolie.”
If he had accepted the role then fans would have seen a new side of Lokesh as an actor, but fate had other plans.
