Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri ’s romantic drama ‘Dhadak 2’ is holding its ground at the box office. But despite decent reviews and strong performances, the film has not picked up the pace that was expected. Facing tough competition from ‘Saiyaara’, ‘Son of Sardaar 2’, and ‘Mahavatar Narsimha’, ‘Dhadak 2’ is struggling to rise above its steady run.
Day 5 collection: Rs 1.6 croreOn Tuesday, 5 August, ‘Dhadak 2’ earned Rs 1.6 crore at the Indian box office, taking its five-day total to Rs 14.35 crore, as per early estimates by Sacnilk. Fans of Siddhant and Triptii appreciated the gesture, but the film’s numbers didn’t see a major rise because of it.
