SBI has sought applications for the posts of Junior Associate (Customer Assistance and Sales). Out of a total of 6589 vacancies, 5180 are regular posts, while 1409 are backlog posts. The application process for these posts is completely online and it has to be completed by visiting the official website of SBI.

Difference between regular and backlog vacancies

Regular vacancies are those which are empty due to retirement, transfer or promotion of employees. At the same time, backlog vacancies are those which could not be filled in previous recruitment processes and now the new recruitment has been included. Eligibility criteria

Age limit

Candidates should be between 20 and 28 years old. That is, he was born between 2 April 1997 to 1 April 2005. Reserved classes (SC/ST/OBC) will be given age discount as per government rules.

Educational qualification

To apply, the candidate must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. If you are in the last semester, you can still apply, provided you complete your degree by 31 December 2025.

Selection process

Selection in SBI Clerk recruitment will be in three stages. These are:

1. Preliminary Examination

  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Type: Objective (MCQ)
  • Total number: 100 This examination will test the basic qualification of candidates.

2. Main Examination

  • Duration: 2 hours 40 minutes
  • Number of questions: 190
  • Total number: 200 This exam will examine your knowledge and skills in depth.

3. Local Language Examination

This exam is for candidates who are not proficient in the local language of the selected sector. It will have a total of 20 marks and will be qualified.

Application fee

  • General, OBC, EWS: ₹ 750
  • SC, ST, Divyang: No fee, this fee will have to be deposited at the time of online application.
