After the success of the film ‘Su From So’, actor Raj B Shetty is now back with his vibrant new look in the beach-set political action film ‘ Karavali ’. Prajwal Devraj plays the lead role in this film. Set in the heart of coastal traditions like Kambala , the film focuses on issues of man and beast, traditions and nature, livelihood and morality.
Maveera’s look drips with raw coastal energy

The character of Maveera, played by Raj B Shetty in the film, is an important emotional character who reflects the culture of the South Kannada region. His charming appearance, resembling a Kambala contestant – kneeling on the ground, a goal in his hand, fire in his eyes – has surprised fans. The poster titled “Arrival of Maveera” has created a stir among fans.

Director reveals casting challenges for Maveera
Gurudatha Ganiga , who directed the film, said in a media interaction that, “Initially, there was no plan for who would play Maveera. We approached many actors. But we needed someone who understood the intensity and sentiment of that culture. Raj B Shetty is the right choice for that," he said. Although Raj was initially unable to give dates due to his work, including 'Su From So', it is said that after the director's efforts, he confirmed that he would act after watching a few shots.
'Karavali' blends action, tradition, and culture
'Karavali' is set to hit the theatres soon. It stars Raj B Shetty, Prajwal Devraj, Mithra, Ramesh Indira, and Sampatha in important roles. Sachin Basrur has composed the music.
