The Return of Final Destination

Los Angeles: The beloved horror series, Final Destination, is gearing up for its seventh chapter. This announcement follows the recent release of the sixth film, Final Destination Bloodlines, which debuted in May.

Lori Evans Taylor, who co-wrote Bloodlines with Gary Busick, is set to return as the screenwriter for this upcoming installment, as reported by Variety.

Producers Craig Perry, Sheila Hanahan Taylor, Jon Watts, Dianne McGunigle, and Toby Emmerich will also reprise their roles in producing the film, with Warren Zide serving as the executive producer.

The sixth film, directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, featured actors Tony Todd, Richard Harmon, and Brec Bassinger. It marked a revival of the franchise after a 14-year hiatus since the release of Final Destination 5 in 2011.

The series has captivated audiences for 25 years, following various characters who attempt to cheat death after experiencing mysterious premonitions.

In addition to Final Destination, Taylor has previously written Cellar Door and directed Bed Rest, which stars Melissa Barrera.
