A building bearing a Wetherspoons sign has locals making the same blunder every weekend.
The beloved pub chain is known for its remarkably affordable pints and cheap food - but a property in Watford has been trending for a totally different reason.
That's because it keeps leaving members of the public feeling bewildered when they walk inside. Laura, 32, has begun recording these episodes due to their frequent occurrence, with many punters left baffled by the Wetherspoons signage.
Even though people think the Spoons building is a pub, it's actually a corporate premises that has fooled countless individuals.
One video shows a group of people yelling "f**** sake" after discovering they were not able to get a pint.
The group of men were spotted outside the building and appeared deflated by their mishap.
Despite being a routine occurence, the comedy reactions never cease for Laura, who explains that people fail to recognise the private building isn't actually a Wetherspoons establishment.
Laura explained: "It happens every weekend. Most people just walk up to the door and try the handle. They didn't even realise, they just walked straight into the reception and the woman on the desk asked if they had an appointment.
"I just happened to film cause I could hear them from my bedroom shouting 'f**** sake'."
The amusing incident was captured by Laura on Saturday, August 8. One viewer joked: "They should have a bar for these people who've made the effort." Another person added: "Poor lads, gutted. Should've gone to Specsavers."
Others concurred that a bar should be installed for those duped by the Wetherspoon signage displayed above the premises.
They remarked: "Not having a bar in there is poor form."
Meanwhile, another has suggested the signage might require alteration to avoid future confusion.
That individual commented: "They should probably have 'head office' or similar written. Still funny, though."
Someone else has recounted a comparable incident involving a Greggs factory in Manchester, explaining they arrived at the venue anticipating a sausage roll but were unable to make a purchase.
They noted: "Easily done. I turned up to the Greggs' factory in Manchester once. Couldn't buy a sausage roll."
