After the mega success of Stree 2, the horror comedy universe expands with Thama, a vampire romantic comedy starring Ayushmann Khurrana, Rashmika Mandanna, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Paresh Rawal.


Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar of Munjya fame, Thama features Ayushmann as a vampire and the same character as well as the film was teased towards the end of Stree 2.

In the film, Ayushmann Khurrana plays Alok who is a vampire. Rashmika Mandanna plays the character of Tadaka, Nawazuddin Siddiqui portrays Yakshasan and Paresh Rawal stars as Ram Bajaj Goyal which is quite similar to his name in Andaz Apna Apna i.e. Ram Gopal Bajaj.

Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s look in the film is quite similar to his character in Housefull 4.


Reacting to the posters, one social media user wrote, “Eagerly waiting for this one. Ayushmann Khurrana Comeback Loading”.


Another user reacted, “this is the biggest miscast of the whole movie.”


A third user wrote, “I want this movie to work coz of Ayushmann. Bro deserves a great comeback”.


A fourth user commented, “Everything is ok but why I see Rashmika in every other movie these days. Koi actress ko bhi le lo yaar sanya,mrunal,medha ,pratibha all are good actresses and better than her stop casting her in every movie.”
