Unveiling 'Thama'
'Thama' marks the latest entry into the Maddock horror universe, which has previously delighted audiences with hits like 'Stree', 'Stree 2', 'Munjya', and 'Bhediya'. This upcoming film will introduce a vampire character, with Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna taking the lead roles. The first look at the film's main cast has been revealed, generating significant excitement.
The creators shared Ayushmann Khurrana's first look, stating, "Presenting Ayushmann Khurrana as Alok – Insaaniyat ki aakhri umeed. The World of Thama drops tomorrow at 11:11 am. This Diwali, the universe gives us a bloody love story in cinemas worldwide – #Thama."
Rashmika Mandanna's first look from 'Thama' also showcases her intense portrayal. The production team described her character, stating, "Presenting Rashmika Mandanna as Tadaka – Roshni ki ek hi pehli kiran."
Nawazuddin Siddiqui will portray Yakshsan, characterized as 'Andhere ka badshah', or the king of darkness.
Veteran actor Paresh Rawal will take on the role of Mr. Ram Bajaj Goyal, a character who finds humor in tragedy.
'Thama' is set to release in theaters on Diwali 2025. The Maddock Horror Universe has consistently produced successful films, with upcoming titles including 'Shakti Shalini', 'Bhediya 2', 'Chamunda', 'Stree 3', 'Maha Munjya', 'Pehla Mahayudh', and 'Doosra Mahayudh'. Reports suggest that Kiara Advani will star in 'Shakti Shalini', while Varun Dhawan is expected to return for 'Bhediya 2', although Kriti Sanon's involvement remains uncertain. Additionally, Alia Bhatt is rumored to join the universe with 'Chamunda'.
