There is great news for the youth preparing for UPSC. The last date of application has been extended in the recruitment under the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO).


The last date to apply for EPFO recruitment was earlier fixed as 18 August 2025, but now candidates can apply till 22 August 2025. Now candidates can apply by visiting the official website upsc.gov.in or upsconline.nic.in.


Only those candidates will be eligible for this recruitment who have a graduation degree from a recognized university.


The maximum age limit for the post of Enforcement Officer / Account Officer (EO / AO) has been kept at 30 years. The maximum age limit for the post of Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) has been fixed at 35 years. Under the government rules, candidates of reserved category (SC, ST, OBC, PwBD) will also be given relaxation in the upper age limit.


A total of 230 posts will be filled through this recruitment drive. Out of these, 156 posts are reserved for EO/AO and 74 posts for APFC. The opportunity of recruitment on such a large scale is a golden opportunity for the youth.


In this examination, the candidates will have to go through two stages. First of all, a written examination will be conducted. This examination will be the basis of the main selection as its weightage in the total marks is 75%. Candidates who are successful in the written examination will be called for interview. The weightage of the interview has been kept at 25%. That is, the marks of the written examination will get the most importance in the final merit list.


In this recruitment, candidates of general and OBC category will have to pay an application fee of 25. If a candidate fills the form for both the posts (EO/AO and APFC), then he will have to deposit a fee of 50. At the same time, the application is completely free for SC, ST and PwBD category candidates.
