Bihar Guru Shishya Parampara Yojana: Chief Minister Guru Shishya Parampara Yojana has been started by the Department of Art, Culture, and Youth. The objective of which is to provide training to the youth under the guidance of expert gurus to preserve and promote the rich cultural heritage and rare and endangered traditional folk and classical arts of Bihar. An application has to be made for this, in which 20 selected gurus will be given Rs 15000 per month each, an accompanist Rs 7500, and 160 disciples Rs 3000 per month scholarship.



Convocation will be organized.



After completing the training under this scheme, a convocation will be organized, in which the trainees will exhibit their art and will also be honored. This scheme has been started to promote culture in different areas of the state.



There are some eligibility criteria for the Bihar Guru Shishya Yojana.



The age of the guru should be 50 years or more.



The guru is a native of Bihar.



The guru should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in the related endangered knowledge.



The Guru should have a proper residence and place to impart training and should also have the facility of a training centre.



How to apply?



To apply, eligible candidates will have to visit the departmental website state.bihar.gov.in/yac/.



After this, all the necessary certificates along with the application form will have to be downloaded and sent to the Directorate of Cultural Affairs by speed post or by hand by 31 August.
