They make our life easy, but also prepare a digital record of every small and big payment, which we call ‘Transaction History’. Sometimes we want that some of our old payments are not seen in this history. You may be worried about your privacy or just want to keep your history clean by removing old and non-essential entries. Whatever the cause, the good news is that you can manage your Google Pay and Paytm transactions history. However, the way of doing this in both apps is slightly different. Let us tell you the step-by-step process of both. How to delete the transaction history of Google Pay? Google Pay allows you to delete the transaction one by one from your history. This is not directly from the app, for this you have to go to the activity settings of your Google account. Sute 1: Google Pay App before the Kholns Best Best Open Google Pay App in your phone. Step 2: Tap your profile on your profile (top right corner). Go now tap on ‘Settings’ and then select the option of ‘Privacy & Security’. It will take you directly to the page of your Google account where the activity of your payments is managed. Sure 5: Find and delete the payment history, you will see all the transaction history of your Google Pay in a list. Whoever wants to delete the transaction, click on the cut (X) mark. Will ask you to confirm. On clicking ‘Delete’, that transaction will be removed from your history forever. You can remove your selected transactions one by one. How to delete Paytm’s transaction history? Paytm’s rules are slightly different. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) guidelines, no payment app can permanently delete the user’s transaction history. This is mandatory to maintain security, future disputes and maintain financial records. Therefore, you cannot delete your transaction history from Paytm. Any third-party app or trick that claims to do so can be fraud. However, you can definitely hide (hide) by looking at your history on the app. This will not show history on your app, but it will always be safe on Paytm’s server. There is no direct button in the app, for this you will have to contact the Paytm Customer Care and request your history to de-link or hide your history citing privacy. It is important to know that this history takes a necessary evidence in the situation of any kind of transaction in future.
