CSBC Bihar Police Constable Exam 2025: There is good news for the candidates preparing for the Bihar Police Constable Recruitment. The Central Selection Board (CSBC) has released the tentative schedule of the Constable Physical Test.



Advertisement number 01/2025 was issued by the Central Selection Board (Constable Recruitment) for the recruitment of 19,838 posts of constables in the Bihar Police. Under this, the written examination was conducted in a total of six phases from 16 July 2025 to 3 August 2025.



The physical test will start in December.



The Central Selection Board has not yet announced its exact dates, but the board has shared the information about the possible month. The second phase of this recruitment process, the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), is likely to start from December 2025. The result of the written examination and the list of candidates appearing in the PET will be published officially in time.



The Driver Constable written exam will be held in December

The Central Selection Board of Constables (CSBC) will also conduct the written exam for Driver Constables in December. A total of 4,361 vacancies will be filled through this recruitment drive.



What will happen in the Bihar Police Constable Physical Test?



Race: Male candidates have to complete the prescribed distance in the prescribed time (usually a 1.6 km race in around 6 minutes). The distance and time are slightly different for female candidates (usually a 1 km race).



Shot Put: Male candidates have to throw a shot of about 16 pounds. Female candidates have to throw a lighter shot (about 12 pounds).



Long Jump: Candidates have to jump to a minimum fixed distance. This is done to check physical ability and fitness.



How many marks are required to pass



The Bihar Police Constable written exam is of a total of 100 marks. To pass this, candidates need to secure at least 30 percent marks i.e., 30 marks.



Candidates who fail to achieve this minimum marks will not be allowed to appear in the next stages of the recruitment process - Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination.
