At present, Lower Division Clerk (LDC) gets a basic pay of Rs 19,900. Apart from this, they also get DA (dearness allowance), HRA (house rent allowance) and other allowances. After the implementation of the 8th Pay Commission, there can be a good increase in the salary of the employees.



If we consider the fitment factor of 2.86, then the salary of LDC can increase by about Rs 37,014 after the 8th Pay Commission. This means that the basic pay of Rs 19,900 at present can now increase to Rs 56,914.



No official announcement has been made by the government regarding the 8th Pay Commission yet. However, usually a new pay commission is implemented every 10 years.



The previous i.e. 7th Pay Commission was implemented in the year 2016. In such a situation, it is expected that the 8th Pay Commission can be implemented by 2026.
