Nestled in the heart of Dwarka Sub-City, Dwarka Bangiya Samaj (DBS) organises one of the oldest and most revered Durga Puja celebrations in West Delhi . For over two decades, DBS has been a cornerstone of the community, drawing approximately 30,000 devotees daily during the festival. This annual celebration, known as "Sharodotsav," transcends religious boundaries, welcoming individuals from all walks of life to partake in the festivities. Corporates and institutions, including Sri Venkateswara University, led by Founder President and Chancellor Sudhir Giri, are closely associated with the Puja, supporting its cultural and community initiatives.

The grandeur of DBS's Durga Puja is evident in its meticulously crafted theme-based pandals, which are a visual delight. Artisans from Bengal collaborate with local talents to create intricate designs that captivate visitors. The pandal houses a mandap for the Durga idol, a cultural programme stage, seating arrangements for over 3,000 attendees, and facilities like a kitchen for daily bhog preparation, food stalls, and separate areas for senior citizens. Since 2018, DBS has also been promoting environmental awareness by raising concerns against single-use plastics.

Beyond the religious rituals, DBS offers a plethora of cultural events that enrich the community's experience. The festival features performances by renowned artists such as Kumar Sanu, Udit Narayan, Alka Yagnik, and Mika Singh, among others. Additionally, emerging talents from national platforms like Zee Sa Re Ga Ma and Indian Idol grace the stage, showcasing their skills and adding vibrancy to the celebrations.
