The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission has announced recruitment for 87 Assistant Professor positions. The application process will begin on October 31st and continue until November 30, 2025.


The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has released the official notification for recruitment to Assistant Professor positions. This is a golden opportunity for candidates who have been preparing for government jobs for a long time. The Commission is going to fill a total of 87 positions through this recruitment.


The online application process will begin on October 31st, 2025, and candidates can apply until November 30, 2025. To apply, candidates must visit the MPPSC's official website, mppsc.mp.gov.in, and fill in all the required information.


Candidates applying for the Assistant Professor position must have a postgraduate degree with at least 55% marks in a subject such as Arts, Commerce, Humanities, Law, or Social Sciences from a recognized university in India. Candidates must also pass the National Eligibility Test (NET). Other qualifications prescribed by the Commission will also apply for certain subjects.


Regarding the age limit, the minimum age is 21 years and the maximum age is 40 years. Age relaxation will be provided to candidates from reserved categories as per government regulations.


The exam date has also been announced. The Commission will conduct the MPPSC Assistant Professor exam on January 4, 2026. Candidates' admit cards will be available on the Commission's website from December 26, 2025, and must be downloaded and printed.


The selection process will be completed in two stages: an OMR-based written exam, followed by an interview. Final selection will be based on the scores obtained in both stages. Selected candidates will receive a monthly salary of ₹57,700, along with other government benefits and perks.


General category candidates will have to pay an application fee of ₹500, while SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates from Madhya Pradesh will have to pay ₹250. Payment can be made online through debit card, credit card, or net banking.


The application process is also very simple. Candidates should visit the website mppsc.mp.gov.in and click on the "Assistant Professor Recruitment 2025" link. Then, fill in your information in the online form, upload the required documents and photos, pay the application fee, and submit the form. After completing the application, be sure to take a printout.
