Dhanteras And Diwali 2025 Puja Subh Muhurat: Every year, Diwali is celebrated on Dhanteras and Amavasya tithi on Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month. Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha of Kartik month is considered very sacred, because on this date Lord Dhanvantari appeared with the urn of nectar during the churning of the ocean, hence Lord Dhanvantari is worshiped on this day. There is also a tradition of worshiping Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Kuber on the day of Dhanteras. On this day, gold, silver and new utensils are purchased. This year the festival of Dhanteras will be celebrated on 18th October i.e. tomorrow.

On the day of Dhanteras, puja is done not only in homes but also in every corporate office. Diwali is on 20th October this year. Mother Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha are especially worshiped on the night of Diwali. Even on Diwali, Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha are worshiped in homes as well as in every corporate office. It is believed that by worshiping on Diwali, Goddess Lakshmi is pleased and bestows blessings of wealth and prosperity. Dhanteras puja auspicious time(Dhanteras 2025 Puja Muhurat)

On the day of Dhanteras, Lord Dhanvantari, Kuber Maharaj and Mother Lakshmi should be worshiped in the evening. This year, the auspicious time of worship on Dhanteras will start on October 18 at 7:11 pm. This auspicious time of puja will last till 9.22 pm. This means that people are going to get about 2 hours and 12 minutes time for worship on the day of Dhanteras. In this Muhurta, worship can be done both at home and office.

Diwali Puja Muhurat (Diwali 2025 Puja Muhurat)

According to the scriptures, Goddess Lakshmi should be worshiped on Amavasya Tithi during Pradosh period. Worshiping Lakshmi during Pradosh period on Amavasya is considered best. According to the Hindu calendar, the time of about 2 hours after sunset is called Pradosh Kaal. On the day of Diwali, the time of Pradosh Kaal will start from 05:46 pm and will last till 08:18 pm. On the day of Diwali, the auspicious time for worshiping Lakshmi-Ganesh will start at 07.08 in the evening. This auspicious time will last till 08:18 in the night.
