(Read) — Reliance Jio has introduced its new Corporate JioFi plans aimed at India’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs) and corporate teams. Starting at just ₹299 per month, the plans include affordable data packs, SMS benefits, and a JioFi device provided at no upfront cost — though the device must be returned once usage ends.
The initiative reflects Jio’s growing focus on the enterprise connectivity marketwhere competition remains strong among private telecom and broadband players. While Jio dominates the consumer mobility space, this move signals its intent to strengthen its foothold among business customers.
The Corporate JioFi plan includes the Router M2S (Black) — a compact 4G Wi-Fi unit supporting LTE bands (2300/1800/850 MHz). It can connect up to 10 Wi-Fi devices plus one USB-tethered device and offers a 2300 mAh battery capable of 5–6 hours of usage.
The router supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n at 2.4 GHz, with micro-SD storage, micro-USB charging, and WPS-enabled one-touch setup. It also supports JioCall app integration for voice and data, along with file sharing via micro-SD.
₹299/month – 35 GB data, 100 SMS/day, 24-month lock-in
₹349/month – 50 GB data, 100 SMS/day, 18-month lock-in
₹399/month – 65 GB data, 100 SMS/day, 18-month lock-in
Data rollover of up to 200 GB is allowed, and after data limits are reached, connectivity continues at 64 Kbps.
The Corporate JioFi initiative comes at a time when remote and hybrid work models have reshaped how businesses operate. Portable Wi-Fi hotspots are becoming essential for teams that need consistent internet access beyond fixed offices.
By bundling hardware, connectivity, and enterprise support, Jio aims to provide a cost-effective, all-in-one package that rivals like Airtel and Vodafone Idea may find difficult to match at this price point.
The free device model helps SMEs avoid upfront costs, while data caps and lock-ins ensure predictable revenues for Jio. As 5G hotspots evolve, JioFi users are expected to transition smoothly within Jio’s expanding ecosystem.
With Corporate JioFi, Reliance Jio strengthens its push from household consumers into the SME and enterprise segmentoffering affordable plans and portable connectivity solutions tailored to India’s growing business backbone.
