Eligibility Criteria for CTET
Who is eligible to take the CTET exam?
As per the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) guidelines, candidates for CTET Paper-1 must have completed 12th grade with a minimum of 50% marks and have either a two-year D.El.Ed or a four-year B.El.Ed course. For Paper-2, candidates need a graduation degree with at least 50% marks and a B.Ed. or an equivalent qualification. Additionally, candidates must be under 18 years of age.
