S.S. Rajamouli’s Baahubali The Epic surprised everyone with its earnings on the first day, there was tremendous enthusiasm among the audience about the film.
Baahubali The Epic Box Office Collection: S.S. Rajamouli’s historical franchise ‘Baahubali’ has once again returned to the big screen, and this time the excitement of the audience was more than ever. ‘Bahubali The Epic’, released in theaters on 31 October 2025, created such a blast on the very first day that all the box office records were shaken. The film is presented with a new edit combining Bahubali Part One and Part Two, so that viewers can enjoy the entire story in one go.
According to reports, the film has earned around Rs 10 crore on the first day. This earning was not on any holiday but on an ordinary working day, which is a big record in itself. Long queues of spectators were seen at the ticket windows since morning. The magic of Bahubali’s name remains in the hearts of people even today as it was in 2015 and 2017.
The success of the film can be gauged from the fact that the two new films released before it, ‘Thamaa’ and ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ proved to be lackluster at the box office. While ‘Thama’ earned around Rs 3 crore, ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ barely managed to reach Rs 2.50 crore. Compared to these two films, ‘Baahubali The Epic’ took the lead on the very first day.
The biggest feature of ‘Baahubali The Epic’ is that the story of both the parts has been linked together. The total time of the film is approximately three hours forty five minutes. Before the interval, the audience watches part of ‘Baahubali The Beginning’ and after the interval, the story goes straight to ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’. This unique combination has given a different flavor to the film.
Huge crowds were seen in every show of the film. The audience was seen clapping and whistling on old dialogues and scenes. Especially the fight scenes between Prabhas and Rana Daggubati received an overwhelming response. The shows were full house in many theatres, and people on social media called it a “re-awakening experience”.
S.S. Rajamouli’s directorial skills and grand visuals once again touched people’s hearts. It would not be wrong to say that ‘Bahubali’ has become not just a film but an emotion, which attracts audiences of all ages equally.
Considering the strong start of the first day, it is believed that the film’s earnings will increase even more rapidly over the weekend. Experts estimate that the film can do a business of Rs 25 to 30 crore on Saturday and Sunday. Apart from South India, its popularity is continuously increasing in the Hindi belt also.
According to box office experts, if this pace continues then ‘Bahubali The Epic’ can once again create history and become the highest grossing film among the re-released films.
