Experts recommend avoiding cold water, ice creams, and other chilled foods — especially in winter. Cold items can irritate the nasal passages and intensify sinus discomfort. It’s also essential to protect yourself during seasonal changes and seek medical advice if pain or congestion increases.


3. Include Vitamin C-Rich Foods
Fruits like papaya, oranges, and strawberries are high in vitamin C, which boosts immunity and helps reduce sinus inflammation. Regular consumption can help manage symptoms more effectively.


4. Add Omega-3-Rich Foods to Your Diet
Omega-3 fatty acids found in flax seeds, walnuts, and fatty fish (like salmon) are known for their anti-inflammatory properties. Including these in your daily meals can help reduce sinus swelling and congestion.


5. Eat More Green Vegetables
Broccoli, cabbage, and spinach are rich in antioxidants and vitamin C, which help fight inflammation and improve sinus health. Green tea is another good option, as it also contains powerful antioxidants.
