PM Modi meets L. K. Advani: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday met senior BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani at his residence and congratulated him on his birthday. Advani celebrated his 98th birthday on 8 November. On this occasion, Prime Minister Modi said that Advani ji’s entire life has been dedicated to the upliftment of the country and democracy.

PM Modi also shared his wishes on social media platform X. they wrote, “Warm birthday wishes to Lal Krishna Advani ji. As a politician endowed with great foresight and intelligence, he always kept the national interest paramount. His contribution has left an indelible mark on the democratic and cultural landscape of India. May God grant him good health and long life.”

Lal Krishna Advani is one of the founding members of the BJP and has been the party’s longest serving national president. Along with former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he took the party to the national level. He played a major role in the Ram Mandir movement and created history by taking out a 10,000 kilometer long Rath Yatra. He has been awarded the country’s highest civilian honor Bharat Ratna and Padma Vibhushan.

There was a flood of congratulations from across the country on Advani’s birthday. President Draupadi Murmu, Home Minister Amit Shah and many other senior leaders congratulated him. Amit Shah said that Advani ji showed how to serve the nation selflessly – whether in an organization or in the government, for him the nation always came first.
