According to the Vedic calendar, this Tithi will begin at 9:43 am on Wednesday, November 19th. This Tithi will end at 12:16 pm on Thursday, November 20th. Astrological rules consider the Udayatithi to be the most important Tithi. Amavasya Tithi will be observed at sunrise on November 20th. Therefore, Margashirsha Amavasya will be celebrated on November 20th.

This auspicious time for bathing is the best.

Taking a dip in a holy river during the Brahma Muhurta on this day brings special merit. Therefore, bathing in a holy river during the Brahma Muhurta on this day is recommended. After bathing, one should perform charitable acts.

Don't do these things even by mistake.

Furthermore, washing hair on the new moon day is also considered taboo. It is believed that washing hair on this day can cause various problems.

Do this to please the ancestors.
