Spotify has launched new premium plans in India. This means that Spotify now has a total of four paid plans available in the country. These premium subscription plans include Lite, Standard, Student and Platinum plans. Out of which the cheapest plan is Lite. Also many in the platinum plan AI-Powered features to be offered. Like AI DJ and AI Playlist Creation. All these four plans of the company offer users ad-free music streaming. Additionally, the company has also launched a feature called Audiobooks Recaps, which gives users an AI-summary of audiobook parts they’ve listened to before.

Spotify has four premium plans

Music streaming service Spotify has launched a new premium plan in India. Which now brings the total number of paid plans in India to four. The cheapest Spotify Premium Lite costs Rs 139 per month. This plan offers ‘high audio quality’ up to 160 kbps and an ad-free experience. This plan is available for one account only. Along with this, users will also be able to listen to music and audiobooks without ads in the Spotify Premium Standard plan. The price of this plan of the company is Rs 199 per month. The Spotify Premium Standard plan is also available for a single account only. Talking about the benefits, apart from ad-free music playback, subscribers will be able to download music and audiobooks and listen offline. This plan offers ‘Very High’ audio quality up to 320 kbps. The Spotify Student Premium Plan is only available to users who are enrolled in any ‘Eligible Accredited’ Higher Education Institution. This is verified.

The Spotify Premium Student plan is priced at Rs 99 for the first two months and will be Rs 99 per month thereafter. The most expensive of these plans is Spotify Premium Platinum. Which costs Rs 299 per month. It supports up to three user accounts, downloads audio files and offers ‘lossless’ audio quality up to 44.1kHz. The Platinum plan comes with features like Mix Your Playlists, AI DJ and AI Playlist Creation, and the option to connect via DJ software apps.
