Tata Sierra 2025: Tata Motors has revealed its most awaited SUV Tata Sierra 2025. Now this iconic SUV is going to be launched in India on 25 November 2025. Its glimpse has been seen several times on the roads during testing. Tata’s classic Sierra was discontinued in 2003 and after almost 22 years it is making a comeback in a new, modern and hi-tech avatar.
The design of the new Tata Sierra is inspired by the old 1990 model but it now appears in a completely modern SUV style. The front has integrated LED DRLs, integrated headlamps in the bumper, wide grille and a strong bumper. The boxy look and the iconic Alpine Window feel remains intact this time too, but now the SUV will come with four doors. It has flush door handles and dual-tone multi-spoke alloy wheels. LED tail lamps and glossy black bumper at the rear show its premium style.
The biggest highlight is the interior of the SUV Full-width triple screen setupwhich gives a completely futuristic look to the dashboard. The interior features yellow highlights, slim AC vents and a 4-spoke steering wheel with a lighted logo. Three headrests and center armrest have been provided on the rear seat, which will make even long distance journeys very relaxing.
This SUV has been provided with such features, which make it quite advanced in the segment. It will be provided with dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, JBL sound system, ventilated power seats, ambient lighting and panoramic sunroof. Safety will include technologies like 7 airbags, ABS and EBD, electronic stability control, ISOFIX, front and rear parking sensors, 360° camera and Level-2 ADAS.

The petrol variant of Tata Sierra will be powered by an expected 1.5L T-GDI turbo engine, which will generate around 170PS power and 280Nm torque. Diesel is likely to get a 1.5L engine, which can give around 118PS power and 260Nm torque. 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic option can be given in transmission. Later its electric version will also be launched.
Prices could start from around ₹11 lakh ex-showroom. It will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Skoda Kushaq, VW Taigun, Maruti Grand Vitara, Honda Elevate and MG Astor.
