The Taiwan-based electronics giant introduced its high-end laptop Asus ProArt P16, in India on Tuesday, November 18. The Asus ProArt P16 is available in a single Nano Black hue through e-commerce websites and other retail channels. It has an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU, and has up to 2TB of SSD for internal storage and up to 64GB of RAM, both of which are expandable.

Additionally, it has a Full-HD webcam for video conferences. It comes with a 16-inch 4K touchscreen.

 

Asus ProArt P16 price

The base GPU version of the Asus ProArt P16 costs Rs 3,59,990 in India. One of the options, which can be purchased in the country for Rs 4,19,990, is listed at an MRP of Rs 5,03,990 on the company’s website. Amazon, the company’s web store, and a few Asus-only retail locations are presently selling the new laptop. The laptop is only available in a Nano Black colourway.

Asus ProArt P16 Specs

Windows 11 Home is the operating system for the Asus ProArt P16. It has a 16-inch 4K (3,840×2,400 pixels) 120Hz OLED touchscreen with a 16:10 aspect ratio, a response time of 0.2 ms, a maximum brightness of 1,600 nits, stylus compatibility, and an 88 per cent screen-to-body ratio.

Additionally, the display has 1.07 billion colours, 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut, VESA certification for HDR True Black 1000, and TÜV Rheinland certification.

 

An AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 processor, up to 64GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and up to 2TB M.2 NVMe PCIe 4.0 SSD for onboard storage power the new Asus ProArt 16. The laptop comes with an empty SSD slot that can be used to increase storage. Additionally, it has a Full-HD Asus AiSense webcam with IR functionality for Windows Hello support and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 GPU with 24GB GDDR7 VRAM for video conferences. Dolby Atmos is also compatible with the ProArt P16.

The Asus ProArt P16 can connect via Bluetooth 5.4 and dual-band Wi-Fi 7.

 

In addition, the newest Asus laptop has two USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A ports, one HDMI 2.1 port, one 3.5mm combination audio jack, one DC-in connector, one USB 4.0 Type-C port, one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, and an SD Express 7.0 card reader.

Additionally, it has a lighted chiclet keyboard with a Copilot key and a numpad. It has 240W wired quick charging and a 90Wh battery. It weighs roughly 1.95 kg and has dimensions of 354.9 x 246.9 x 18.3 mm.
