KVS NVS Vacancy 2025: CBSE has invited online applications to fill 14,967 vacant positions in Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas. These positions include both teaching and non-teaching positions. 9,126 positions will be filled in Kendriya Vidyalayas and 5,841 in Navodaya Vidyalayas. Learn about the Eligibility



Different eligibility requirements are required for each position. For PGT, a minimum of 50% marks in an integrated PG course and B.Ed. qualification from an NCTE-recognized institute is required, or a Master's degree and B.Ed., or a three-year B.Ed., M.Ed., or a four-year degree and B.Ed. For TGT, a four-year integrated course or a Bachelor's/Honors degree is required. For PRT positions, a Senior Secondary/Higher Secondary/Intermediate degree with a Diploma in Elementary Education or B.Ed. is required. Detailed qualification details for the specific post can be found in the notification.



Selection Procedure



Recruitment for the above positions will be conducted in two stages: Tier 1 and Tier 2, followed by an interview. Tier 1 will be a preliminary (qualifying) exam consisting of multiple-choice questions. A merit list will be prepared based on the scores obtained in Tier 2 and the interview, with 85% and 15% weightage, respectively. The interview will be conducted for 100 marks.
