Zee TV's popular show, Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile, continues to captivate its audience with gripping emotional developments. In the latest episodes, Raghav (Bharat Ahlawat) and Reet (Ayushi Khurana) find themselves increasingly connected amidst turmoil and peril, while Sharda bua (portrayed by Jayati Bhatia) adds to the drama with her cunning tactics.
While Sharda bua is known for her sharp and scheming personality on-screen, Jayati Bhatia embodies a contrasting demeanor off-screen—serene, composed, and self-aware. Unlike many of her peers who take naps during breaks, Jayati prefers to stay alert and make the most of her time on set. She describes her makeup room as her sanctuary, a tranquil space where she can read, rehearse, and reflect.
Jayati expresses, “I cherish my makeup room; despite being enclosed, it brings me tranquility. Once I’m prepared with hair, makeup, and costume, I repeatedly review my scenes. I avoid napping on set because I want to remain present. A deep sleep makes it hard to re-engage, and I also notice my face tends to swell after a nap,” she chuckles.
When not immersed in her scripts, Jayati enjoys exploring Hindi literature. “Currently, I’m engrossed in a brilliant essay by the renowned satirist Harishankar Parsai. Sometimes, I listen to an entire music album or simply sit in silence. I’m not one to spend much time on my phone. I prefer solitude, engaging in self-talk, and letting my imagination run wild. I’ve always had my own imaginary realm, and I find great joy in it.”
Her thoughtful approach to acting—remaining alert, emotionally stable, and creatively involved—enables Jayati to deliver a profound performance as Sharda bua.
