Considering this demand, many two-wheeler manufacturing companies are offering powerful bikes in the market. Recently Harley Davidson also launched their new bike in India. This bike is Harley-Davidson X440 T.

Royal Enfield The Classic 350 has been a popular bike in its segment for years. It has further reduced its price after GST 2.0. Both bikes have a retro look, but their styling is different. While the Classic 350 has a more retro and simple design, the Harley X440 T combines the retro look with modern design and new features.

Price

The starting price of the Harley X440 T starts at Rs 2.79 lakh, while the Classic 350 is priced lower. Compared to the top models, the Harley has become more expensive by around Rs 63,000. This makes the Classic 350 a more affordable bike. The Harley X440 T is designed as a premium bike, while the Classic 350, due to its price and simple design, is popular among riders.

performance

The Harley X440 T has a 440cc engine, which produces 27 hp of power and 38 Nm of torque. It comes with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike offers a smooth, fast and powerful feel on the highway as the torque is good even at low RPM. On the other hand, the Classic 350 has a 349cc engine, which produces 20.2 hp of power and 27 Nm of torque. It gets a 5-speed gearbox. It rides comfortably in city traffic, but doesn’t feel as fast or powerful as the Harley on the highway.

Ride quality

The Harley X440 T features 43mm USD forks at the front, which are typically found on sports bikes. This makes the bike more stable and gives better control during braking. Its wide tires provide excellent grip on the highway. The Classic 350 has 41mm telescopic forks, which is the basic setup. Both are almost identical in weight Classic 350: 195 kg, Harley X440 T: 192 kg. Hence, both the bikes provide a strong and stable feel on the road.

Technology

The Harley X440 T looks much ahead of the Classic 350 in terms of technology. It comes with important features like two Ride Modes, Traction Control and Switchable ABS, which makes riding safer. Classic 350 also has good features, but in terms of technology it is not as advanced as Harley. It gets Dual-Channel ABS and Tripper Navigation, while its meter cluster is a retro-styled semi-digital unit.
