Team India’s star all-rounder Rinku Singh is busy these days in Asia Cup 2025 and is practicing hard in UAE. India’s first match in the Asia Cup is against host UAE on 10 September. Before the match, an interesting incident of Rinku Singh has come to light, which has surprised the fans. He revealed that an animal had eaten the flesh of his hand, due to which its effects are still visible on his body.

Rinku Singh recently spoke with Raj Shamani in a podcast. In fact, before going to UAE for the Asia Cup, Rinku had done a podcast. During this show, he told that once in his childhood, during the rains, he was roaming in the fields with his brother and then suddenly a monkey came from nowhere and attacked him and caught his right hand. At that time, due to rain, there was no one in the fields. Vandaro was so angry that even after his brothers threw stones at him, he did not let go of Rinku’s hand. When Vandross finally ran away, much of the flesh had gone from Rinku’s hands and the condition had become so bad that even the bones were visible.

Rinku said that at that time, due to Vandara’s bite, his flesh had been destroyed and he was bleeding so much that his family thought that he might not be able to survive. Subsequently, he somehow got treatment and his hand was saved, but the effects are still with him.

Revelations in NCA scan
In the podcast, Rinku Singh further said that when his DEXA scan was done recently at the NCA (National Cricket Academy), a shocking truth came to light. The scan report revealed that there was a difference of about 1 kg in the weight of his two hands. The weight of the hand that Vandra had folded is still less than that of the right hand.

When Rinku was asked whether she faces any problem in fitness training because of this, she clearly said, “Yes, I cannot lift as much weight with my left hand as I can with my right hand.” Despite this, Rinku never gave up and due to her hard work got a place in the Indian team.
