Detailed praise

Roshan lauded Singh's transformation from "silent to fierce," called Akshaye Khanna his longtime favorite, and praised R. Madhavan for bringing "grace, strength, and dignity" to the screen.

He also singled out Rakesh Bedi's performance as "phenomenal," adding that the makeup and prosthetics team deserved special recognition.

Roshan's earlier post sparked mixed reactions online
Controversy

Roshan's praise came a day after his Instagram Story sparked debate.

In that post, he called Dhurandhar a film that "pulls you into a vortex" and praised its storytelling but also addressed the commentary surrounding its political messaging.

"I may disagree with the politics of it and argue about the responsibilities us filmmakers should bear as citizens of the world," he wrote, triggering mixed reactions online.

While some fans welcomed his honest take, others questioned the shift in tone.
