Talking about Airport lounges, nowadays they are more than just luxury for regular travellers as these lounges provide much-needed respite from congested terminals, delayed flights, and demanding workdays.
SBI Revising Domestic Airport Lounges Program
Considering the same, the SBI Card’s domestic airport lounge access programme which is all set to come into effect from January 10, 2026 is designed to offer a vast network of airport lounges categorised Set A and Set B, depending on the type of the SBI credit card a customer holds.

Please note here that these participating lounges are applicable to select SBI credit cards (effective from January 10, 2026).
Basically, these lounges are available to premium SBI credit cards which are listed below.

How Does It Work?
If you are wondering about these lounges, they can be accessed through a SBI credit card only after validating the card on the lounge POS machine.
SBI Card charges authorisation fee
Please note here that the SBI credit card holders of VISA and RuPay will have to pay a Rs 2 authorisation fee for validation and this fee is non-refundable.
A temporary fee of Rs 25 towards authorisation will be placed for the validation purpose for the SBI credit cards of the Mastercard brand.
But, it will not be settled or debited from the SBI credit card holder’s account.
For the people whose complimentary quota visits for a SBI credit card holder are exhausted then they will be denied the lounge access or they will be charged the lounge’s regular entry fee.
What Are The Regular Access Fees For SBI Credit Card Airport Lounge?
If SBI credit card holder accesses the airport lounge beyond the eligible limit then he/she will be charged as per the regular access rates prescribed by the lounge.
Besides this, the person has to bear the additional charges which may be applied for meals, food, or beverages, specially alcoholic drinks, as well as for services such as nap rooms, massages, and spa facilities, depending on the policies of the participating airport lounge, as per SBI Card.
It is noteworthy here that the changes mentioned are applicable to all cards with an annual fee of Rs 1,499 and Rs 2,999, respectively.
So far, these airport lounge access programmes are being managed by network partners.
