Under this scheme, widow women of Bihar, whose age is between 40 to 79 years and who are living below poverty line (BPL), are given pension every month. Earlier, under this scheme, Rs 400 per month was available, but in the year 2025, the government has increased it to Rs 1100 per month. Its objective is not only to provide financial help but also to make widow women feel respect and security in the society.
Eligible women are now given Rs 1100 every month under this scheme. This amount is sent directly to the bank account of the beneficiary through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). The payment process takes place through the PFMS system, due to which the money reaches the account on time and securely.

To apply, submit the filled and signed application form along with necessary documents at the RTPS counter located in your block office. After submitting the application, take the receipt and keep it safely. Information about application acceptance or rejection is given through SMS or email. Once the application is approved, the approval order can be obtained from the same RTPS counter by showing the receipt and identity card.
