Women lead in AILET 2026 participation.
Female candidates outnumbered male candidates in appearing for AILET 2026. More female candidates applied for both the BA LLB (Hons.) and LLM programs compared to male candidates. According to the data, a total of 13,537 female candidates appeared for AILET 2026 for admission to the BA LLB (Hons.) program, while 8,994 male candidates appeared. Similarly, for the LLM program, a total of 1,681 female candidates appeared for AILET 2026, while 1,105 male candidates appeared. 

AILET 2026 was conducted in 36 cities.
AILET 2026 was conducted at 47 test centers across 36 cities in the country. The AILET 2026 exam was held on December 14th for admission to BA LLB and LLM courses. The AILET 2026 paper for the BA LLB course consisted of questions worth 150 marks, while the AILET 2026 paper for the LLM course had questions worth 100 marks. NLU released the provisional answer key after the AILET 2026 exam. Candidates who wished to raise objections to the provisional answer key had to pay a fee of ₹500 per question. The last date to submit objections was December 16th, 12 PM.
