Mumbai: ‘Stranger Things’ Season 5 Volume 2 will be on Netflix in India on December 26, 2025, from 6:30 am IST. The instalment has three episodes, all with a runtime of three and a half hours. It is expected to be a cinematic spectacle for fans.

Volume 2 of the finale consists of three episodes, among which the last one has the longest runtime– ‘Shock Jock’ (1 hour and 8 minutes), ‘The Bridge’ (1 hour and 6 minutes), and ‘The Rightside Up’ (2 hours and 8 minutes). The plot picks up from Vecna’s abduction of 12 children. The Hawkins team, with little time to spare, is determined to uncover the town’s mysteries and rescue the children from Vecna.

Meanwhile, the finale will premiere in the US on December 25, at 8 pm ET. Apart from being launched on Netflix, the finale will be showcased in around 500 cinemas across the United States from December 31, 2025, into New Year’s Day.

The trailer, released on December 16, displayed the intensity of this season. It seems that significant revelations will unfold as the series comes to a close. Winona Ryder, David Harbour, Millie Bobby Brown, Finn Wolfhard, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Noah Schnapp, and Sadie Sink are all part of the finale. Other supporting cast like Natalia Dyer, Charlie Heaton, Joe Keery, Maya Hawke, Priah Ferguson, Brett Gelman, and Jamie Campbell Bower also reprise their characters in the series.

“I feel very satisfied and excited for all our characters and how the show wraps up. I think it does a great job closing everyone’s individual story and doing a service to all of them,” said Noah Schnapp to Deadline.

Commenting on the finale, Executive producer and director Shawn Levy stated, “I’ll say something that I think Finn said, but I’ll say it with even more fervor having watched the finale episode recently. It’s one of the best finale episodes of any show that I’ve ever seen.”
