An old favourite chocolate bar that was discontinued seven years ago has reappeared in B&M, but with one key difference.
Nestle produces some of the world's most popular sweet treats, from Rolos to Smarties. But when the White Chocolate Crunch Bar stopped hitting shelves in 2018, fans were bereft. They missed what had been described as "the best in the world".
When asked by a chocolate fan whether they would be returning to stores, a spokesperson from Nestle responded: "These were discontinued in the UK a while back. Unfortunately, we have no current plans to bring them back. We'll be sure to let our team know that you miss them though!"
But it's officially the festive season, and no time is better than now to bring joy to families that miss the favourites they always used to find in their stocking.
The new treat, called the Milky Bar Crunch, was spotted at the discount retailer's stores alongside three new Kit Kat flavours: Neopolitan, Aero and Gooey Choc.
Shoppers have shared their excitement online. One person on the Facebook group Newfoodsuk said: "Definitely need them lol."
Another wrote "Omg the milky bar crunch one", and yet another said: "Oooo yum".
The White Chocolate Crunch Bar is one of many treats that have been discontinued.
Nestle's Caramac, Mars Delight, Quality Street Toffee Deluxe and Breakaway are nowhere to be found. Cadbury's has also pulled the Wispa Mint, Aztec Bar, Snow Flake, Fuse and Dairy Milk Orange Chocolate Bar.
The Mars Delight was reportedly the UK's most-missed discontinued chocolate, according to a 2022 survey. Six years earlier, there was even a petition started to save it. The Mars Delight was a combination of milk chocolate, caramel and wafer. They were a hit when first introduced in 2004 but disappeared from shelves four years later in 2008.
