The Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission (MPPSC) has officially released the notification for the State Service Examination (SSE) 2025, commonly known as MPPSC PCS Recruitment 2026. This recruitment drive aims to fill 155 Group A and Group B vacancies across various administrative and allied services under the Madhya Pradesh government.

Important Dates for MPPSC PCS Vacancy 2026

As per the official notification, the online application process will start on January 10, 2026. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their application forms till February 19, 2026 (afternoon).


Candidates who make any mistakes in the application form will be given a correction window from February 20 to February 27, 2026.


The Preliminary Examination is scheduled to be held on March 22, 2026, while the admit cards are expected to be released on March 12, 2026.

  • General category and candidates from outside Madhya Pradesh: ₹500


  • Reserved category candidates domiciled in Madhya Pradesh: ₹250

Selection Process for MPPSC PCS Exam

The MPPSC State Service Examination is conducted in three stages:


  • Preliminary Examination:
    This is an objective-type exam conducted to shortlist candidates for the next stage.


  • Main Examination:
    Candidates who clear the prelims are eligible to appear for the descriptive main examination.


  • Interview (Personality Test):
    The final stage evaluates candidates’ personality, leadership qualities, and suitability for administrative roles.


  • The final merit list is prepared based on marks obtained in the Main Examination and Interview.

    Educational Qualification:
    Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognized university or institution.


    Age Limit:



    • Non-uniformed posts: 21 to 40 years


    • Uniformed posts: 21 to 33 years



    Age relaxation will be provided to reserved category candidates as per government norms.
