2. Putting the laptop on the bed or pillow
Working while keeping the laptop on the bed, pillow or lap during charging can be extremely harmful. Due to this, ventilation stops and hot air cannot come out. Excessive heat not only damages the battery, but also increases the risk of fire.
3. Use of local or fake charger
Many people start using cheap local chargers when the original charger gets damaged. This habit can prove to be very dangerous for the laptop during charging. 4. Remaining plugged in even after charging is complete
Another common mistake is to leave the laptop plugged into the charger for hours even after it is 100 percent charged. 5. Charging in hot environment
Charging the laptop in sunlight, in a closed room or in a very hot place is not good for its health. Heat is already generated during charging and the risk of overheating increases manifold when the outside temperature is high.
