Drivers on the M1 are facing traffic woes on Thursday following a spillage on the road. The incident has prompted the closure of two out of four lanes on the M1 northbound between junctions J21 and J22. Here, as of 12.15pm, there are delays of 40 minutes against expected traffic.


The spillage of offal has also sparked the closure of the northbound exit slip at Leicester Forest East Services, National Highways said.
