World Economic Forum 2026: On the second day of the World Economic Forum 2026, State New and Renewable Energy Minister Rakesh Shukla held a special meeting with Shri Tushar Singhvi, Deputy CEO and Head of Investments, Crescent Enterprises, at the Madhya Pradesh State Lounge in Davos. In this meeting, possibilities of investment in multimodal logistics, inland container depot, warehousing and integrated supply chain infrastructure in Madhya Pradesh were discussed. Crescent Enterprises expressed strong intention to expand its presence in India and has shown interest in examining Madhya Pradesh as a strategic destination for logistics based investment.

Minister Rakesh Shukla said that the state's logistics and export policy provides many benefits for investors. Which includes investment help and support, infrastructure facilities, refund of stamp duty, help in getting land and special incentives for green logistics.

Principal Secretary Raghavendra Singh said that Madhya Pradesh is in the center of the country and it is easy to do business from here. Shipping cargo through airports is cheap and easy. The state has a good industrial base in food processing, automobiles, medicines, clothing and renewable energy equipment manufacturing. Along with this, land, electricity, water and workers are also easily available. Which makes it the best center for investment.

Talk on investment will continue in future also

Both sides decided to identify specific projects and further discuss logistics investments, which will continue going forward. This means that Madhya Pradesh wants to promote industry and exports by creating modern and sustainable logistics.
