However, it looks like that's not true. The tarrer has not even started a shoot timeline yet and will reportedly not be released in 2026.

Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryaanga Parvam to not release in 2026

Prashanth Neel's Salaar Part 2 is not happening anytime soon, as per a report by mid-day. A source informed the portal, "The sequel hasn't even entered the discussion stage yet, let alone a shoot timeline."

The same report reveals that Prabhas will be shooting for Fauji next, directed by Hanu Raghavapudi. He will begin shoot next week and will juggle it with 's Spirit.

The source told the portal, "Prabhas will be managing 'Fauji' and 'Spirit' together for the foreseeable future. The fate of 'Salaar 2' will be decided only after the director wraps his current project with Jr NTR, and Prabhas's dates free up. That is likely to happen sometime in 2027."

All about Salaar

Director  had earlier clarified in pre-release interviews that the second part is yet to go on floors and will begin production at a later stage. The decision to split Salaar into two parts was a conscious one.

While Part 1 did not feature a post-credit scene, the sequel's title, Salaar: Part 2 - Shouryanga Parvam, was revealed in the end credits. For the uninitiated, Shouryanga is the clan to which Prabhas' character, Deva, belongs, and the second instalment will chart his transformation into an adversary of Varadha, played by Prithviraj.
