Over the years, so many different stars have appeared and faded from our TV screens, and a particular person you may not have seen for a while is Nella Rose. The YouTube sensation, 28, featured in the line-up of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! back in 2023, and she hit the headlines a lot during her stint in the jungle.
She arrived with a bang, and got a lot of people talking when she had a major row with Fred Sirieix. It's hard to believe it's less than three years ago that so much drama unfolded on our screens, and you may be wondering where the social media star and TV host ended up.
Nella actually kicked off her career while she was studying at university back in 2016. At the time, she set up a YouTube channel where she focused on vlogs, and also uploaded hair tutorials and fashion hauls, which helped her rise to fame.
Prior to her stint in the jungle, she was also known for hosting Catfish UK and once helped to host the BRIT Awards. However, many people may think they haven't actually seen her for a long time.
On Instagram she has over one million followers, and it seems she's still keeping herself busy. She has a new series on YouTube called Case Closed, and she still presents.
Back last year, she also revealed she was releasing a rap song as a part of her collaboration with the chocolate brand Twix for their "Twixmas" campaign. At the time, she said: "I'm a rapper now, this is me, forget that I'm a YouTuber or a presenter, I'm a rapper. So when they think of me, Nella, they're gonna think of SexyRedd, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion, I'm up there now.
"It's a music video, so I went into the studio and I recorded my little adlibs because I'm a big time rapper, and then we shot a music video in a house. That was the first music video where I'm not just a video vixen, I'm actually part of the video as an artist, because as I said I'm a rapper now."
Back in 2023, Nella lasted 16 days in the jungle before she was evicted. During her time on the show, Nella had an altercation with First Dates star Fred Siriex after a comment he made about being old enough to be her dad.
Nella, who previously told Fred that both her parents are no longer alive, quite directly expressed her dislike for the comment and felt it was best to cut off all ties with him. She stopped speaking to him, and refused to eat any meals he prepared during her stint in the show.
Nella previously spoke about her father passing away in 2020, while she also sadly lost her mother when she was aged 19. Nella claimed Fred was aware of her family tragedy and that a comment he made to her in camp left her upset.
The pair launched into a row as Nella told Fred: "I don't want to eat your food, I don't want to talk to you. We can just live, you live on that side, I live on this side." She also called him a "weirdo".
At the time, the fall out gained huge attention, with viewers appearing pretty divided as to how events unfolded. While some supported Nella, others were quick to criticise her actions.
During her exit interview with Ant and Dec Nella defended her argument with Fred. She believed she was correct to be "offended" by his words.
"I just feel like in the middle of an argument, or in the middle of a disagreement, you shouldn't bring up sensitive topics. And I feel like, in the middle of a disagreement, he brought up a sensitive topic. I didn't understand why he would do that," Nella explained.
After the series ended, Nella continued to pursue her career in the entertainment industry. Since then, she has hosted the Channel 4.0 digital series "Tapped Out", and has also co-hosted "Boss Pitches" alongside GK Barry, so she is still thriving, despite not appearing in other mainstream shows.
