A golden opportunity has arisen for young people preparing for government jobs in Uttarakhand. The state's School Education Department has issued a notification for recruitment to Group-D posts. A total of 2364 vacant positions will be filled under this recruitment drive. Applications for the recruitment process are invited online, and interested candidates can submit their applications until March 5, 2026. This recruitment will be conducted in various districts of the state, which is expected to increase employment opportunities at the local level.

Which districts will have vacancies?

According to the information released by the Education Department, this recruitment will be conducted in different districts of Uttarakhand. The highest number of vacancies, 340, is in Pauri district. This is followed by Tehri with 268 and Almora with 254 vacancies. Nainital has 208, Pithoragarh has 197, and Dehradun has 195 vacancies. Udham Singh Nagar has 182, and Chamoli has 179 vacancies. Haridwar has 91 and Bageshwar has 89 vacancies. In addition, some vacancies are also available in districts like Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag, and Champawat.

Eligibility

To apply for these posts, candidates must have at least passed Class 5.  Other eligibility criteria will be as per the rules set by the department. Candidates are advised to check the official notification before applying.

Age Limit

The minimum age for applicants is 18 years, while the maximum age is 42 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be given age relaxation as per government rules.

Last Date to Apply

The last date to apply for these positions is March 5, 2026. Candidates are advised to apply in time, as there will be no opportunity later. Selection Process

Candidates will be selected according to the rules set by the department. Priority will be given to local youth of the state to increase employment opportunities within the state.

After filling out the application form, they must upload the necessary documents and submit the form.
