Uttarakhand School Education Department has started the application process for recruitment to Group-D posts. A total of 2364 vacancies will be filled in various districts in the state. Eligible candidates can apply on Rojgar Prayag portal (rojgarprayag.uk.gov.in) till 5 March 2026. Local youth will be given priority in recruitment and selection will be based on qualification, experience and rules.

Uttarakhand Group-D Recruitment: Uttarakhand School Education Department has started the online application process for recruitment to 2364 Group-D posts in the state. Candidates can register on the Rojgar Prayag portal (rojgarprayag.uk.gov.in) till 5 March 2026. This recruitment is being done with the aim of providing employment opportunities to the local youth in various districts of the state and to assist in the operation of the education department. Selection will be done on the basis of qualification, experience and departmental rules.

Details of districts for recruitment

Maximum 340 posts are available in Pauri district. After this, 268 posts will be filled in Tehri, 254 in Almora, 208 in Nainital and 197 in Pithoragarh. There are 195 posts in Dehradun, 182 in Udham Singh Nagar and 179 in Chamoli. There will be recruitment for 91 posts in Haridwar and 89 posts in Bageshwar. Apart from this, there are some vacant posts in districts like Uttarkashi, Rudraprayag and Champawat.

Priority in recruitment will be given to local youth, so that employment opportunities can increase in the state. This recruitment is being considered an important step towards employment generation in both rural and urban areas.

Qualification and age limit

To apply for these posts, the minimum educational qualification of the candidate must be class 5 pass. Talking about age, the minimum age of the applicant has been fixed at 18 and maximum 42 years. Reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules.
