Tesco Clubcard shoppers can make points go further and get triple the value from vouchers by spending them at more than 800 locations across the UK. Clubcard points are normally worth 1p each, so 100 points is equal to a £1 spend in-store or online.

But supermarket shoppers can double their value by exchanging their points with more than 100 Tesco Reward partners, where one point is worth 2p, so 100 points would give you £2 to spend. However, it's possible for shoppers to triple the value of their points with specific Tesco Reward Partners, and with February half-term coming up, now is a great time to cash those points in. Tesco Clubcard points are worth triple their value at seven major restaurant chains that are part of the supermarket's reward scheme.

As of January 19 this year, all seven of these chains, which include PizzaExpress, Zizzi and ASK Italian, every 50p will give you £1.50 to spend when dining in.

So if you have £5 worth of Clubcard vouchers, these will be worth £15 to spend in the eligible restaurant chains, while £10 worth of vouchers would equate to a £30 spend.

Until recently, points were previously only worth double their value but Tesco has now increased this to triple the rate, giving shoppers more bang for their buck.

There are approximately 832 branches of the seven restaurant chains across the UK where Tesco Clubcard points can be exchanged for triple their value. The chains include:

  • ASK Italian (67 locations)

  • Bella Italia (at least 70 locations)

  • Frankie & Benny's (54 locations)

  • Las Iguanas (54 locations)

  • PizzaExpress (at least 360 locations)

  • Prezzo Italian (95 locations)

  • Zizzi (at least 132 locations)

Other restaurants still remain at the double value rate, including BrewDog Bars, Cafe Rouge, Chef & Brewer and Hungry Horse pubs.

MoneySavingExpert (MSE) explains: "There's a range of restaurants to choose from, and at 3x value it's a good swap to boost a family meal out - but only if no other decent deals are available for that restaurant as Clubcard vouchers can't be used on top."

To exchange your Tesco Clubcard vouchers for triple their value, simply select one of the seven partner restaurants in the "Rewards" section of the Tesco Clubcard app or website, select exchange vouchers for a code, and then redeem it to spend.

If you don't have a Clubcard, you can register for one online for free and start earning points for every £1 spent at Tesco.
