New Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will end the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main session 2 application process today, February 25. Candidates need to fill the JEE Main session 2 application form by 9 PM. The JEE Main 2026 session 2 application fee payment can be done till 11:50 PM. The session 2 exam application and form-filling link is active on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

The exam conducting authority will start the JEE Main 2026 application correction process on February 27. The last date to make corrections in the form is February 28 till 11:50 PM.

Who can apply for JEE Main session 2 exam?

Candidates who have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam in the year 2024 or 2025, or those who are appearing for the 12th exam in 2026 are eligible to apply and appear for the JEE Main 2026 session 2 exam. There is no age limit to appear for the exam.

Candidates who appeared in the January session can also appear in the JEE Mains April session. Candidates who appeared for the JEE Main session 1 exam can appear for session 2. The best score from both sessions will be considered for the final merit list.

JEE Main session 2 exam date

According to the JEE Mains session 2 schedule, the NTA will conduct the JEE Main 2026 session 2 from April 2 to 9 in two shifts. The morning shift will be held from 9 am to 12 noon, and the afternoon shift will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm.

How to apply for JEE Main session 2 exam online?

To fill the JEE Main session 2 application form candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps-

  • Visit the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in
  • On the homepage, click on the ‘Registration for JEE(Main)-2026 (Session-II)’ link.
  • Log in using the existing credentials if appeared in JEE Main session 1 exam, or complete the registration.
  • Fill the application form with the personal and academic details.
  • Select the paper type.
  • Upload your photograph, signature, and other required documents in the required format.
  • Choose preferred exam cities.
  • Make payment of the JEE Main application fee.
  • Submit the JEE Main session 2 application form and download the confirmation page.
