Lucknow. A new state-of-the-art helicopter has been inducted into service for UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The Uttar Pradesh government has purchased the state-of-the-art AgustaWestland AW139 helicopter of Italian company Leonardo for the safe air travel of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. Now it has been included in government use. This double engine helicopter, worth more than Rs 100 crore, is considered to be one of the safest VVIP helicopters in the world. It will be used especially for the movement of the Chief Minister and other VVIPs.

This helicopter is capable of flying safely even in bad weather and at night. It has modern features like advanced avionics, crash-safety system and bulletproof protection, which will make VVIP travel more secure. The AW139 helicopter has the capacity to carry 12 to 15 people at a time and its high speed and high-tech navigation system make it one of the most reliable helicopters in its class. Let us tell you that AgustaWestland AW139 helicopter can fly at a speed of 310 kilometers per hour. It is capable of flying even in bad weather and at night. This helicopter can be used very well even in case of emergency.

Equipped with double engine facility

The AgustaWestland AW139 helicopter has a double engine. In case of emergency, another engine can be used. This helicopter includes features like crash safety system, digital glass cockpit and soundproof cabin which make it unique.

price is 1 billion

The price of this VVI helicopter is said to be around Rs 1 billion. Two pilots fly it. The AgustaWestland AW139 is now known as the Leonardo AW139. It is a medium-sized twin-engine helicopter developed and manufactured by the Italian helicopter manufacturer AgustaWestland, now part of Leonardo Company.

Three pilots had gone to Italy for training

Let us tell you that the state government had sent three of its pilots to Italy for training last year to understand the technical aspects of this helicopter. During the training, these pilots were given instrument training and critical emergency training.
