The official notification issued by the agency states that candidates who have not yet applied can do so within the stipulated deadline. The online application deadline for NEET UG 2026 has been extended to March 11th. Interested candidates can submit their forms until 9:00 PM, and the application fee can be paid until 11:50 PM. Candidates are advised not to wait until the deadline and to complete the application process as soon as possible to avoid any technical issues.


What is the fee?


Candidates must pay an application fee to apply for this exam. General category candidates must pay ₹1,700, while EWS and OBC-NCL candidates must pay ₹1,600. For SC, ST, PwBD, and third gender candidates, the fee is ₹1,000. Foreign candidates must pay ₹9,500.


When will the exam be held?


Every year, lakhs of students apply for this exam, but only a few are selected. This year, the NEET UG 2026 exam will be held on May 3, 2026. The exam will be conducted from 2 pm to 5 pm and will last 180 minutes (3 hours). According to information released by the NTA, the exam will be conducted in 13 languages across the country. Candidates will be able to select the language according to their convenience.


The exam will be conducted in these 13 languages:


Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. Step 1: First, candidates should visit the official NEET UG website at neet.nta.nic.in.


Step 2: Candidates should then click on “New Registration.”


Step 3: Candidates should now log in and fill in their details in the application form.


Step 4: Candidates should then upload the required documents.


Step 5: Candidates should then pay the application fee.


Step 6: Finally, candidates should submit the form and take a printout.
