Real estate-focused AI startup VerbaFlo has raised $7 Mn (about ₹64 Cr) in a seed funding round led by Pi Labs, with participation from Haatch, Navigate Ventures, Old College Capital, and a group of global family offices.

With the latest round, the startup’s total funding has reached close to $10 Mn, including $2.5 Mn raised in a pre-seed round back in 2024 from Downing Family and other investors.

The startup intends to use the fresh capital to expand its presence in the US and other global markets, scale its team, and further enhance its product capabilities.

Founded in 2024 by Sayantan Biswas, Abhishek Garg, VP Singh and Dan Smith, VerbaFlo offers an AI-powered communications platform targeting real estate developers. Its platform helps automate leasing, operations, and engagement via conversational AI agents.

It integrates with existing systems and centralises communication across channels such as email, web chat, and WhatsApp, embedding AI directly into operational workflows. This enables property operators to respond instantly in over 200 languages.

VerbaFlo claims to support communication across more than 2 Lakh residential units globally, adding around 30,000 units each month.

Its platform is live in 10 countries and is used by over 40 real estate owners and operators across multifamily, student housing, and co-living segments. VerbaFlo competes with the likes of Sell.do, Reloy, StrategicERP, and BeyondWalls.

The fresh funding comes at a time when AI adoption is accelerating across industries. Startups across sectors including fintech, healthtech, SaaS, autotech, and consumer services are increasingly deploying conversational AI bots on their platforms to enhance customer support and engagement.

Overall, India’s AI market is projected to become a $126 Bn opportunity by 2030, with the potential to contribute up to $1.7 Tn to the country’s GDP by 2035,as per Inc42’s Bharat AI Startup Report.
