Meanwhile, the film itself is doing exceptionally well at the box office. Starring Ranveer Singh, Dhurandhar 2 has had a huge opening.
Released worldwide on March 19, the film had already earned around Rs 43 crore in India through paid previews. On its first full day, it collected an estimated Rs 103 crore, taking the total to about Rs 146 crore net.
The strong performance is being linked to several factors, including the popularity of the first film, large-scale storytelling, and Ranveer Singh’s powerful role. Director Aditya Dhar’s direction and the film’s high-energy action have also impressed audiences.
